The Black Travel Club – Empowering Black Travelers ✊🏾

That’s why they created The Black Travel Club and this site to help Black people build a community around the life-changing experience that is travel, and use our collective buying power to negotiate travel discounts on your behalf (like AAA for Black travelers).

Urban Events Global – A travel company of professional, African-American adventure seekers. Our travelers enjoy experiencing all that life has to offer through various group travel events, networking, and meeting like-minded individuals with an appetite for fun and exploration.

Urban Events Global (UEG) was founded in 2011 Kevin Knight. What started as a camping trip in Texas among friends grew to a small (but large) travel group of friends, and friends of friends looking to enjoy and experience all that life has to offer. UEG is a collective group of people looking for a fun and exciting time while networking and checking off their bucket list items. If you’re a solo traveler or a person that likes to travel in groups, they are the group for you.

Their travelers vary per event, however, our general audience consists of hard-working African American professionals from across the United States that are ready to take on the world! Their team and group are made up of many experienced travelers who have a genuine passion for connecting with people.

They’ve had the honor of servicing thousands of travelers throughout our history and look forward to sharing those experiences with you. Their core values center around having a good time and giving back to our communities. If this sounds like you, join them!

We Work To Travel – ▪️We are like a Black “Tripadvisor”. 📗 Modern Day Green Book. 5000+ Tips by Black Travelers

WeWorkToTravel/GreenBookGlobal, is a travel platform that was created after the founder quit their job to travel to over 30 countries and all 7 continents. I realized as I was planning for each destination it took an absorbent amount of time to plan for each city. Even with massive travel sites already in play (you know the ones), it still takes an average of 10-20 hours to plan a trip. Well, why is that? I think it is for 3 main reasons:

  • Travel content is not broken out by travel style
  • Travel content is fragmented across multiple sites or even within a single site
  • Once you find good travel content, you still need to vet the user(s)

WeWorkToTravel/GreenBookGlobal, tries to help ease the burden of these travel paint points with our unique offering. They provide comprehensive city guides by travel style and couple that with a custom rating tool where instead of rating an activity you rate your overall experience of a city. In other words, we give you a ton of travel content with a consistent structure and then enhance it with tips and experiences from travelers. They even have a proprietary search algorithm to help you find destinations that meet your criteria.
